One of the marks of industries that move forward is a constant effort to innovate. And that is certainly true within our supply chain. This week we focused on two more AAPN members doing truly innovative things and certainly making us very proud.

Earlier this week we told you about the venture between AAPN members Cotswold and Cotton Inc. launching a brand new way for apparel manufacturers to build their brands; Invertising. And just today we were delighted to be able to announce that AAPN member Lenzing’s Tercel is set to break more boundaries as a part of a new, very eco-friendly sneaker line.

Also this week we joined millions in lamenting the demise of Toys R Us, and Mike took a fascinating look at how textile production strategies that are 204 years old are still workable and effective today.

And of course, we kept busy planning our Carolina Mill Tour – and a special dinner – scheduled for next month as well as the big 2018 pro:Americas Annual Conference in Miami in May. Will we see you there?

So that was a little look at our week. How was yours? We’d love to know so why not connect with us socially, via Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn and tell us what you’ve been up to.
