AAPN Weekly Roundup 10/19/18

Another week is over here at the AAPN office and what a busy week it’s been.

We’ve been working hard on the arrangements for the upcoming 2018 Apparel Summit of the Americas in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, scheduled for Nov 27-29 and this week were pleased to be able to share a little bit more here on the blog about our keynote speaker, Simon Mainwaring, a great guy and a fantastic speaker.

We were also delighted to be able to report on an exciting first for AAPN; our first shoemaker member in the form of the very innovative Duramas of El Salvador. We hope you’ll join us in welcoming them to the AAPN family.

There were also some very interesting news stories to take a look at this week, including the rise of the Amazon Go stores and what that might mean for more traditional retailers and the great strides AAPN member Gerber Technology are making with their innovative cutting technology.

And as we sign off for the weekend, don’t forget, the AAPN conversation continues in the social media world. Join us on FacebookLinkedIn or Twitter and chime in!
