The final countdown to the end of the holiday shopping season is on. Last shipping deadlines are passing for online retail purchases and those still scrambling for last-minute gifts – and that’s a lot of people – must now rely on traditional retailers to help them finish off their gift lists.

So far, many pundits have claimed that bricks and mortar stores have been performing better than expected this holiday season.
